About

Please mark your calendars—the date has been set for the World Forestry Center’s "Who Will Own the Forest 4?" Summit:  September 8-10, 2008 in Portland, Oregon.   Since 2003 the annual Summits have brought investors and the forest sector together to discuss forest ownership issues such as investment, timber, and conservation values.

Last year over 250 attendees participated and 18 corporations sponsored this two and a half day event.  Our post-conference survey showed that attendees were extremely pleased with the content and value of the summit.  100% of respondents said they would recommend the event to others, and 76% rated this event as “better than” comparable timberland investment events.  This is the event you need to attend in 2008.

As a non-profit educational organization, the World Forestry Center is dedicated to providing educational and networking events on important and timely forestry issues. Sponsorships are available for the Summit at $5,000 and includes three registrants to attend from your company, banner listings at the event, cover listings on proceedings and on our website, and a digital CD copy of the proceedings.  To reserve your Sponsorship benefits please contact WFI Director Sara Wu at swu@worldforestry.org or 503-488-2130.
